01/12/05 - IT'S OFFICIAL!!!
As of 3:37pm on Monday afternoon, we officially received our Certificate of Occupancy, our keys and our garage door openers! Tuesday was spent unloading the PODS and we were able to spend our first night in the house! There are still a few loose ends here and there so check back for any pictures. Most of the new ones will be for the theater as I now begin the final construction.

Took one final drive by to make sure everything was ready for the inspector in the morning. Everything looks good and we hope for the green light for move in!

Well, I thought I'd be sending you my last pics from the comfort
of my new home, but due to some policy changes with the city,
the inspector decided not to do his inspection on Friday. He
claims he'll come back out on Monday, so again, we wait and
cross our fingers. The deck and master shower still have some
minor work to be done, so look for final pictures this week.
On the theater end, I've completed the screen wall, and will begin the acoustical treatment on the walls after we move in. The latest pictures are at the end of the "stage and riser" section.

It was only a year ago yesterday that I had launched this site,
and I never imagined we'd still be waiting for our house to be completed.
With only days left until our supposed closing date, we're at 99%.
Fingers are crossed for a smooth transaction.
01/04/04 - Launch!!
Welcome - My original concept for this site was to create a community
for people to share reviews or "opinions" about almost everything
and anything: speakers, cars, HDTV, sports, cellular service, work,
digital cameras, etc. I have several opinions of my own that I am
usually happily to share with those around me, and I thought, "Why
not share with the internet community too?" I'd like to eventually
put together a section where I can place my opinions about things,
and allow others to read and/or add comments. I'm also currently
working on a online forum where people can go to discuss their opinions,
and am hoping to have it completed soon. Please check out the "forum"
link on the left if you'd like to experiment and provide feedback.
In the meantime, mropinionated.com will also serve as the home for
my picture collections. My fiancé, Debbie, and I are building a
new home and I am attempting to chronicle it in pictures. At the
end of the project I hope to animate several pictures together (those
with asterisks *) and create a video montage that mimics time-lapse
photography. Currently I have several still pictures posted
of the new construction. Other picture collections include
my new car, and over the next few months, look for the section labeled
"home theater" to become active as I start the process of building
the Lipszyc Theater (name recommendations welcome) in our new house.
Also look for the "wedding" link to become active as February 26th,
2005 approaches.
